The reproductive part of a plant is the flower. The male part of the flower is called stamen and the female part is called pistil. 🔹 Pollination Pollination is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma of a flower. It is an important step in sexual reproduction in plants. There are two types of pollination: 🌼 Self-pollination – When pollen grains from the anther of a flower reach the stigma of the same flower. 🌼 Cross-pollination – When pollen grains are transferred from the anther of one flower to the stigma of another flower of the same kind.
