Solo Camping Serenity: Campfire Cooking at Merna Mora Station .

I'm solo camping and campfire cooking on Merna Mora Station in the Flinders Ranges. I thoroughly enjoyed this solo camping experience in Outback South Australia. It was very relaxing sitting around my campfire, with some great old style bush cooking on the campfire. On one of the days i took on a self drive on the stations 4WD tracks, these same tracks are used to move sheep around the property. The ridge top drive provided stunning mountain views with a couple of quite challenging sections that required staying off the brakes, thats for sure. But, well worth the drive and it's a 4WD ONLY track. Over the couple of days base camped with my off road camper trailer, beside a dried up river bed and surrounded by massive gum trees. The wild life that came close to my camp made for a very relaxing few days. I hope that you enjoy episode two from my Flinders Ranges adventure.
