In this video, I cover upgrading a stock AT3600L which is common among budget turntables and all-in-one turntables. To really hear any differences, please use some headphones or any adequate speaker system. My goal is to help those that are looking to see if an upgrade is really worth their time for an all-in-one unit. Plus you get to see how I ruined mine. If anyone want to try and repair it for free, shoot me a comment. The table is yours ;) And while I didn't say it upfront, this is a compare between a budget conical and elliptical stylus. It also reflects on the Stackstone's phono pre-amp and its ability to resolve any big differences. Recordings were done by a connected MixPre-3 at 192 kHz at 24 bit but yes, Youtube will down sample...I know. Also, to highlight, in the audio played, the first track is from my virtual friend Mark Anthony who has supported my channel over the years and sent me his latest album digitally which I have not been able to promote. If you like the sound of his debut album, check out his bandcamp page here: https://projektgemineye.bandcamp.com/... ============================= VIDEO CHAPTERS ============================= 0:00 Introduction 00:25 Mindless Ramble 1:11 The Punchline…For Those That Think I’m Ugly 1:34 How I Destroyed A Perfectly Good Turntable 5.08 I Wax Poetic About Styli 7:04 The Replacement Styli Under The Scope 8:18 Sound Samples: AT3600L VS.
