AC Blast Tragedy in Haryana, 3 Family Members and Pet Dog Killed, One Critically Injured

A tragic incident unfolded in Faridabad, Haryana, where an AC compressor explosion led to the death of three members of the same family, along with their pet dog. The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday at a four-storey building where Sachin Kapoor lived with his family. Sachin, his wife Rinku, and daughter Sujan were sleeping in a room on the second floor along with their dog when the AC compressor on the first floor suddenly exploded around 1:30 AM. The fire and thick smoke spread to the upper floors, causing the three to die of suffocation in their sleep. Sachin’s son, sleeping in another room on the same floor, woke up due to the smoke and jumped from the second-floor window to escape, sustaining serious injuries. Local residents rushed to the spot and alerted police and fire services. Firefighters extinguished the blaze and recovered the bodies. The injured boy was taken to the hospital.
