How to Replace bubbling sail panel or Top Trans Am Firebird Camaro This is the method I used to replace the top on my Trans Am. This bugged me from the day I bought the car. This car was in great shape other than the top. I decided to replace with a stock one sourced from another car. This was due to fitment issue with aftermarket ones. This does not in anyway mean you can't make them fit. This is something that can be done in a driveway or garage. It does help to have 2 people when putting the new top on.
