Everest Summit! Nirmal Purja fromThe Elite expedition team has made the summit of Everest and plans to go for Lhotse in several hours. Nirmal purja Nims dai from Elie expedition update on Facebook page, Our incredible Everest Team 0fn15 climbers summited the mountain this morning around 7 am local time. Everyone is safe and well, back down at Camp Four. (Stay tuned for updates on Lhotse ) Likewise pioneer expeditions has made the summit but no news yet how many of them summited. Despite uncertain and potentially dangerous conditions after hurricane Yaas passed. Congrats and safe travels down to all climbers! Marek Holecek is back safely in Katmandu after establishing a new route on the NW face of Baruntse, and spending over 80+ hours at 7000m literally surviving a hurricane. He is a real hard man of the mountains. Nims Dai said, After having to wait for a weather window good enough to summit, their patience was rewarded. This team have been brilliant – really strong, positive and determined to learn and be the best. It has been an absolute pleasure guiding you all and watching you grow in strength and confidence – we @eliteexped couldn’t be prouder of you! I respect your effort, hard work, and patience in enduring time away from your families for these two months. The weather was unpredictable and unforgiving at times this year but we never gave up.
