Beat The Street | Buy On Dips, Stay Invested; Indian Economy To Take Centre Stage | Ramesh Damani

Market veteran and BSE Member Ramesh Damani believes the equity market wants to move higher and it is a good time to buy equities. He suggests ‘Buying the dip’ strategy to be deployed and suggests remaining invested in markets. Speaking to ET NOW, Damani said that we are in an ongoing bull market. He remains bullish while expecting returns for the next 3-6 months to be subdued as markets have not discounted interest rates completely. The Indian economy will take centre stage over the next few years, he added. The market veteran believes inflation is transitory and India is in a much better place to tackle higher oil prices. Inflation is a problem but believe it will settle in 6 months, he said.
