Our thoughts and prayers are with the more than 2000 firefighters who have been battling the blaze. ❤️ This week we bring you guys along with us to one of our top 4, ahem, I mean 5 places (see last week’s video) 😉 we think you NEED to see in North America - BIG TREES! After getting to an Army Corps of Engineers campground right outside of the park and realizing it was going to be WAY hotter than we had planned, we got up the next morning in the dark and headed to hike Moro Rock for sunrise and donuts! The road up to the top is the windiest road we have ever driven on! 😳 And we were bummed because, even after getting up around 4am, we thought we had missed the sunrise. After hiking up 350+ steps, we earned our coffee and donuts and headed back down to find Tunnel Log so Corey could drive the truck through it! The adventure is always better for him when the truck is involved! We were blown away by our morning at Sequoia, and it once again proved that National Parks always have so much more to offer than what they are solely known for, so be prepared to go and explore more than what you think is important to see! For us, Moro Rock was an incredible surprise and a must see the next time you go to Sequoia!
