In May 2025, I walked the Camino de Santiago from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port to León (hoping to continue the rest to Santiago sometime in the future). Along the way, I captured thousands of photos: of landscapes, quiet villages, mountain passes, misty mornings, and (a few) rainy afternoons. But what stayed with me most were the people: the pilgrims. In nearly every frame, they appear: walking ahead, pausing at fountains, crossing ancient bridges, climbing toward Alto del Perdón, entering small churches, or simply resting. Their presence tells the real story of the Camino: shared steps, quiet perseverance, and brief moments of grace that stayed with me long after the walking stopped. This video is a tribute to them. I selected 250 images and set them in motion with the Ken Burns effect, accompanied by Camino-inspired music. The first of two songs featured is "Somewhere Along the Way" by Dan Mullins, a pilgrim himself, who wrote it during his own journey on the Camino. The second song is "Canción del Peregrino – El Camino de Santiago de Compostela" by Nick Arandes, a reflective piece that beautifully complements the rhythm of the walk. This video is a reflection. A thank-you. A visual offering—for all who walk: for healing, for clarity, for hope. #CaminoDeSantiago #CaminoFrances #Pilgrimage #SpiritualJourney #HistoricTowns #SaintJeanPiedDePort #Roncesvalles #Pamplona #Burgos #Leon #TravelPhotography #WalkingTheWorld #InnerJourney #FindingClarity #PhotoStory
