Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - Emerald Hill Zone - Furnace Cover [SNES]

I've never messed around with the SNES sound chip, so this was a new experience trying to fit within the size limits with the samples. I didn't really take advantage of the SNES sampling capabilities by using different/original samples, but I had fun regardless sampling the original instruments and making my own loop points from those sounds. I also think it's kind of neat to hear Genesis synths being sampled and played back through the SNES sound chip. The drums, however, are taken from the Roland 626, which is the source of the snare sound used in both Sonic 1 and 2, then I simply used the kick, hi-hats, and tom sounds from the same drum machine.
