Improving knowledge, skills and capacity building to ensure plant health in agricultural systems

The webinar was organized by Plant for the Future ETP and the Euphresco network for phytosanitary research coordination and funding in the framework of the 2023 EU Green Week. The webinar was an opportunity to discuss, through practical examples, the use of basic substances and biological control agents and the practical challenges associated to the development of alternative, low hazard, plant protection products and for gaining market access for new products. The importance of knowledge exchange, capacity building and international coordination and collaboration to address global challenges and to move forward more sustainable agricultural systems was highlighted.
