Creality K1 - Cartographer Install

I was unamused with my pre-print bed mesh due to the PRTouch having to physically mesh each point, even while utilizing KAMP to help shorten the process. After performing some research, I found that the Cartographer would be compatible with the linear rail gantry that the machine was about to receive. The Cartographer utilizes eddy currents, calculating the bed mesh through the magnetic field between the board and the bed; in short, it is able to gather the data for a bed mesh by simply traveling over the bed/area of the intended print. This upgrade doesn't just reduce the pre-print operation process from several minutes to 30 seconds or less but it performs it with a high level of precision! In this video, you'll find a step-by-step guide on how to assemble and install the cartographer on a compatible carriage like mine with a detailed video addressing rooting/firmware changes found in the description below. PREREQUISITES: Rooting your Creality K1 and installing the linear rail gantry as provided by Bootycall Jones are absolutely necessary. Flashing firmware on to the Cartographer prior to install is also required (Utilize the USB-A before reterminating).
