Kove 450 Rally - Deep Sand and a Dead battery

Lots of deep sand to cross to get into the dunes at this time of year. I need to have more confidence (speed) going through it and picking the right line through it. Following the the guys on 4 wheels is not the best idea...... This ride was sadly cut short due to a dead battery - it just died after a drop on a dune climb but was weak all ride. Even on the climb, it felt like the engine was loosing power. I have to remember to put the stand in the holder next ride. Stator is charging at 14.5v but I think I just stalled and restarted so many times getting stuck in the deep sand, the tiny lithium battery these have could not keep up. I now have a small jump starter with me at all times! It would have been a long walk out of there if not for the help of the guys.
