Canberra, Australia 16th MAY 2020, 4pm AEST #TaiwanCanHelp comes to Australia’s skies A group of Taiwanese-Australian doctors and professionals crowdfunded $10,000 in three days to ensure that the message “Taiwan Can Help” will appear in the skies of Sydney and Canberra. We believe that it is in Australia’s best interests that Taiwan joins the WHO. As Australia begins to gradually relax some social distancing measures, learning from Taiwan’s experiences may be useful for Australia, as the country seeks to jump-start the economy while maintaining heightened public health standards. Therefore we invite our fellow Australians to support Taiwan’s bid to join the WHO. Our message “Taiwan Can Help” will appear above the skies of Canberra CBD on May 16th, and again in Sydney CBD on May 17th.
