1977 Columbia PBA National Championship

Portions of all five televised matches from the 1977 Columbia PBA National Championship. This was part of the Summer Tour, telecast on CBS Sports Spectacular. In this unique six-man, five-match stepladder finals, the players were seeded as follows: 6-John Guenther, 5-John Wilcox, 4-Jay Robinson, 3-Mark Roth, 2-Earl Anthony, 1-Tommy Hudson. Unfortunately, the video quality is not great, as it was dubbed a couple of times, and when I dubbed it, I edited it down to just a few shots from each match. So this is about a 3rd or 4th generation copy, with only snippets remaining. Still, there's plenty here to enjoy. Originally telecast June 19, 1977 from Leilani Lanes in Seattle, WA.
