Windmill and Famous Climbing Tree Comes Down. A Sad day at the Farm

This climbing tree on our property has seen generation after generation atop of this beautiful branches. Sadly, after so many years and so much joy climbing this tree as children, it must come down. Over the years we have lost so many large branches to rot. There is not much standing now. It time to do a "control" take-down. The windmill was originally put up (we believe) in 1905. This was now very unsafe. Pieces of the windmill have been falling for years and although no one was living here at the time, we did not view that as "dangerous" just yet. Now, there is life back on the farm/homestead and it's time for it to be removed safely. Emotional. Sad. But, Necessary. Thanks for watching... =) Judy & Dave (Video taken on March 22 2025)
