Empowering researchers, transforming lives. Join us for AMRF's 70th anniversary speaker series! Speaker Series 4, October 14 2025 at the University of Auckland Waipapa Taumata Rau, Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences This event is organised by the Auckland Medical Research Foundation, marking 70 years of funding medical research; partnering with Shaw and Partners, Auckland University of Technology and the University of Auckland. For the last seven decades, the Foundation has provided funding to enable world-class medical researchers who are transforming lives. Researchers such as Professor Donna Rose Addis, who returns to New Zealand to share details of her pioneering work in the use of brain imaging, to study how the brain stores and retrieves memories in healthy people, and in those suffering from neurological disorders. Professor Addis joins Professor Rob Gourdie, who returns to New Zealand to share the results of his world-leading research into understanding how heart cells communicate, and how that deep knowledge can lead to innovative treatments, in the fourth of this year's speaker events hosted by the Auckland Medical Research Foundation. | • Innovations in GI Disorder Diagnosis and T...
