Healing Through Love was founded in April 2018 by four amazing Adelaide business women that share similar values of hope, love, kindness, and empathy. Healing Through Love’s vision is to shift the awareness of domestic and family violence within the community and support and empower survivors. ▼ ▼ Susan is a Sexological Bodyworker, Somatic Sex Educator and Counsellor and has spent the last three decades working with survivors of sexual violence and trauma. Susan is passionate about supporting people to heal through embodiment and pleasure and offers groups, workshops and individual sessions to those seeking to reclaim their relationship to sex, intimacy and pleasure after sexual violence. She is most proud of her collaboration on the recently released podcast series - Embrace - A Podcast on Sex and Intimacy for Survivors by Survivors available on Spotify. Besides her four children and beloved, Susan deeply loves good coffee, biographies about extraordinary women and breaking the rules. ▼ ▼ The goal of this show is to help as many survivors of domestic and family violence in the community as possible by increasing awareness to the wider community and offering advice on services available to survivors and their family members. Local business owners ‘pay it forward’ by providing their time and resources so that survivors have a soft place to land.
