What makes a miniature Grimdark? Is she Grimdark?

I felt like painting a Grimdark witch inspired by the art of Valin Mattheis and miniatures by ‪@MarcoFrisoniNJM‬ but she did not become Grimdark. To remedy I tried to paint a Mordheim backdrop with watercolors. Trying to imitate John Blanche. That did not work to well either. By comparing colors to a picture from Grimdark Compendium and the Mordheim artwork I could draw some basic conclusions about what makes a picture or miniature actual Grimdark. The long term goal that has crept up in mind that, if I do get into warhammer fantasy/the old world this is a good rampup to make an entire grimdark army. And it was also kind of fitting to release a video about a witch in connection to the easter hollidays.
