This is not a big job as you don't need to fully remove the upper dashboard, you just need to loosen it. If you want to upgrade your SR or Workmate Clock for a trip computer, this is what you need to do to get the clock out and fit the trip computer. However, there will be some other things you need to do, this only details how to get the trip computer/clock out.
