Ark of Attrition is one of the toughest winter ultra trail events in the UK, taking runners on a relentless journey along the wild Cornish coastline. Exposed cliffs, technical trails, and constantly changing conditions make this race a true test of endurance, resilience, and grit. This year the challenge was amplified even further. In the days leading up to the event, Cornwall was battered by heavy rain and high winds, leaving the course sodden, slippery, and unforgiving. Race day delivered classic winter conditions — raw, rugged, and brutal — exactly what Ark of Attrition is known for. A massive shout-out to Paul Fulbrook, who did an outstanding job on the day. This was Paul’s first time filming an event of this scale, and he stepped straight into the deep end under some seriously difficult conditions. Filming in high winds, persistent rain, and on exposed coastal terrain is no easy task, but he delivered and helped capture the true atmosphere of the race.
