Peggy: Patient Centered Care is a collaboration, really, between the patient, the physician, and the hospital staff that are taking care of the patient, the continuum of care really follows through with that too. The patients are, they know what to expect when they come to the hospital. They have been very well briefed by the surgeons in the office. The office staff there have also gone over everything that they need to know and what to expect when they arrive. So when they come to pre-op, they're not surprised about what is going to happen. They also, both physicians speak to the patient again, just making sure that everything is taken care of, they understand everything that's going to happen to them in surgery and post-op and for the next three to six months.
