This mod is some of the most satisfying RTT in gaming, and is an attempt to heighten realism while still maintaining balanced and competitive gameplay. The result is the utilisation of the solid game engine of MoW for very gritty and punishing WW2 combat. As in history, every unit serves its intended role on the battlefield. The mod improves/deepens the gameplay in many important ways, including implementing more advanced vehicle armour modelling and more precise penetration values, and by reworking infantry combat to balance for weapon damage and hit locations in similar ways. The result is a game where engagements hinge on extremely discrete minute tactical variables, and where perfect micromanagement and awareness can reward the player with complete domination of the field against much larger opposition.
