How to do a Mk7 GTI DSG service. The service interval for the vwaudi Mk7 Golf GTI DSG is recommended at 40,000 miles. I happened to do mine at 36,000 miles as I drive my car hard and it is exposed to varying elements. This DSG service is the same for both all of the Mk7 and Mk7.5 MQB cars including the Sportwagen, Golf R. It is also the same procedure for the 8V A3 and S3. In VCDS you go to transmission module, then advanced measurements. Search for "temp" and find something called "ATF temperature-Transmission fluid temperature". Idle the car to bring the DSG fluid between 35-45 degrees C. When the fluid is between the desired temperature range, and the engine still idling, remove the drain plug and let the excess fluid dribble out until it's a slow drizzle. Re-install the drain plug and torque it and you have completed the DSG fluid service.
