Episode 14 Our First Boat Trip Gone Wrong: 2024 Regal 38 XO We set off on a month long adventure to answer a simple question, is the Regal 38XO going to be a perfect fit for our future family trips? While we purchased this boat more as a weekender and the occasional two week trips, we decided to take the plunge and packed the boat for a 30 day adventure departing Baltimore, Maryland and heading up to New Port, Rhode Island. We had planned for stops in Cape May, New Jersey; Atlantic City, New York City, and Block Island. We traveled down the Chesapeake Bay, under the Francis Scott Key Bridge and the Elk River and through the C&D Canal to the Delaware Bay. We spent a few days in Cape May before the weather took a turn for the worse. We did continue north as the forecast called for much warmer and calmer days ahead. Wacth our video to see just how far north we got before deciding to turn around due to not only poor weather conditions, but also due to some mechabical issues that needed to be addressed. In this two part series, we answer the question of wherher the Regal 38 XO is the ideal boat for us.
