Riding a MBTA Red Line 1600 series train from Downtown Crossing to Harvard Square

Recorded February 2025. Initially we were going to do a ride up to Alewife. Since we were starving, we short cutted the ride to Harvard Square since we wanted to get to our restaurant in Harvard Square for dinner since we were starving lol! But we rode another one of the oldest trains on the MBTA Subway. While these vintage trains are cool, I'm honestly not a fan of the way they run. They are very rough and with the poor insulation, they are very loud. I can see why these need to be retired relatively soon. Hopefully the MBTA keeps the 1800's going longer than these!
