El Premi ICIP Construcció de Pau 2025 ha estat atorgat a l’organització siriana Women Now for Development, en reconeixement a la seva tasca de suport, protecció i empoderament de les dones sirianes, dins i fora del país, com a símbol de resistència i solidaritat feminista davant la violència. 🎥 La cerimònia va tenir lloc el 18 de setembre de 2025 al Parlament de Catalunya i va comptar amb: Les intervencions institucionals del president del Parlament, Josep Rull, i del president de l’ICIP, Xavier Masllorens. La glossa a càrrec del poeta i traductor palestí Mohamad Bitari. L’actuació musical del duet sirià Athrodeel. L’entrega del guardó a les representants de Women Now for Development, Lubna Alkanawati i Roulah Al Rekbie. ℹ️ El Premi ICIP, creat l’any 2011, reconeix persones i entitats que treballen per la pau, la justícia i els drets humans arreu del món. **** The ICIP Peace in Progress Award 2025 was presented to the Syrian organisation Women Now for Development, in recognition of its work supporting, protecting, and empowering Syrian women—both inside the country and in exile as a symbol of resistance and feminist solidarity in the face of violence. 🎥 The ceremony took place on September 18, 2025, at the Parliament of Catalonia, featuring: Speeches by the President of the Parliament, Josep Rull, and the President of ICIP, Xavier Masllorens. A tribute delivered by Palestinian-Syrian poet and translator Mohamad Bitari. A musical performance by the Syrian duo Athrodeel. The award was presented to Women Now for Development representatives Lubna Alkanawati and Roulah Al Rekbie. ℹ️ Established in 2011, the ICIP Peace in Progress Award recognises individuals and organisations worldwide for their outstanding contributions to peace, justice, and human rights.
