Fidel Aníbal Grajales and Jesús Orlando Grajales, two peasants from the township of Santa Helena in Colombia, take us on a tour of a traditional silletera flower farm, to tell us about the cultivation and care processes, show us the flagship flowers of the township and tell us a little about the history of the silletera tradition of the region. The Silleteros Parade is the central event of the Flower Fair in Medellín, Colombia, which is attended massively every year by local residents and tourists. In the parade, millions of flowers carried in saddles on their backs are displayed, which are the laborious generational work of the peasants of the township of Santa Elena, who with more than 80 varieties of flowers compose beautiful landscapes, portraits, messages with native values and civic, and own creations of the authors. With all this on their backs, they make a monumental tour of the main avenues of the city.
