Up at 7am for an early morning bowhunt in Southern Maryland (Calvert County)! Climbed 20 feet up in the tree climber to try rattling in a mature buck with my DIY antler setup—dangling the antlers on a rope and shaking them from elevation to mimic fighting bucks and draw them in during prime morning time. Rookie move: Didn't secure the rope well enough, and the antlers came untied mid-rattle! 😂 No deer showed up this time (bowhunting keeps you humble), but the sunrise views from 20' up were incredible, and it was a blast testing the call.
