THE NEW 75MM SIRUI SATURN ANAMORPHIC

A test of the new 75mm Saturn T2.9 1.6x anamorphic lens by Sirui. I wanted to test the 50mm also, but no way was I going to expose my sensor in these conditions, with sand and sea spray blowing absolutely everywhere! I'll give the 50 a test soon, so stay tuned for that one. I'm very impressed by these new Saturn lenses. The 35mm, 50mm and 75mm make a great combo especially with the now constant 1.6x squeeze. A big improvement. In my opinion we're finally getting some proper anamorphic character from lenses at the budget end. If the anamorphic look is your thing, there's no doubt these lenses are incredible value. The neutral flares are great, nicely controlled, and the bokeh looks nice. The pin cushion distortion doesn't bother me all that much either. Great job on some cracking lenses Sirui!
