Wise Livelihood: Looking Beyond the Five Jobs to Avoid

In contrast, this course will look at teachings from across the Pali canon to build a more dynamic relationship to this key path factor. Teachings will include the purpose of the Eightfold path factors individually and collectively, unwholesome job types and jobs that lead to happiness, peaceful occupation as blessing, and the dangers of relishing work. We will reflect together on how these teachings can spark new ways of seeing work as a site of liberatory practice.
