ASMR for OCD, Rumination, Compulsions & Overthinking ♡ Welcome, love. You’ve landed exactly where you need to be. This video is a soft and understanding space, gently crafted for those moments when your mind feels too loud, too repetitive, too stuck. If you're struggling with obsessive thoughts, mental compulsions, or the exhausting cycle of overthinking — I want you to know you're not alone. This space is for you. ♡ In this session, I’ll be using calming ASMR techniques — including gentle voice, slow-paced reassurance, guided grounding, and repeated affirmations — to help you soften the noise of OCD and find a little peace, even just for a moment. This is not about trying to “fix” or “erase” your thoughts. It's about creating a kind and quiet space where your nervous system can slow down, and where your mind doesn’t feel like it has to solve everything right now. We’ll slow down the looping. We’ll take the pressure off needing to be sure. We’ll unhook from the urge to figure it all out. This is your permission to rest, to breathe, and to let go — even if just for a few minutes. You don’t have to fight your brain right now. Let me hold that weight with you. You might hear: – Soft verbal affirmations to counter intrusive thoughts – Calm reassurance loops to ease the need for mental checking – Grounding techniques to gently bring you out of your head and back into your body – Long pauses and breathing cues to help soothe racing thoughts – Repetitive comforting phrases to calm compulsive rumination This video is especially helpful if you experience: – Pure O (intrusive thoughts with internal compulsions) – Fear of losing control, harming others, or making a mistake – Over-responsibility, perfectionism, or excessive guilt – Relationship OCD (ROCD), moral scrupulosity, or health obsessions – Generalized anxiety that loops into obsessive overanalysis If you're here during a spike — maybe you’ve been stuck in a spiral, researching, seeking reassurance, or mentally reviewing something over and over — take a deep breath. You’re okay. You’re safe right now. It’s the OCD talking. You don’t need to engage with it. You can just be. I’m not a therapist, but I’ve been through these feelings, and this video was made with deep compassion and understanding for how difficult OCD and overthinking can be. This is not a cure — but a comfort. Something soft and stable to rest your mind on for a while. Let this be your cozy corner of the internet, a gentle place to land when your thoughts feel heavy. Close your eyes, listen softly, and let yourself exist without judgment. You don’t have to earn rest. You don’t have to figure it all out. You’re allowed to feel safe, even when your brain is telling you otherwise. ♡
