This Air Crash Investigation tells the tragic story of LaMia Flight 2933. On 28 November 2016, LaMia Flight 2933 was carrying Brazilian football team Chapecoense from Bolivia to Columbia. During the final moments of the flight they crashed into the mountains near Medellín, Colombia. What should have been a routine flight turned into a devastating tragedy, claiming 71 lives-including players, coaches, journalists, and crew members. But this disaster wasn't caused by weather, engine failure, or technical issues. Instead, it was the result of human error, poor planning, and reckless decisions. I'm not one to criticise the actions of the pilots involved in airplane crashes, there are usually many factors that led to disaster, many of which are unknown and easy to judge when reviewing the incident. In this case, it is difficult to defend the actions of the pilots.
