Last year, I travelled on a memorable road trip by car to the beautiful Cameron Highlands in Malaysia. During my drive, I unexpectedly encountered a large group of Harley-Davidson riders enjoying the scenic route. I thought to myself, "One day, I will ride this road." Last February, I finally got that chance. Although I was in Malaysia for a different reason, this biking opportunity came unexpectedly, and I decided to seize it. I rented a motorcycle and set off on a two-day trip, covering 1,000 km in 18 hours. The ride turned out to be more challenging than I had expected after I missed a turn, which added an extra 220 km and several hours to my journey. This was particularly stressful since I was racing against the clock. I had to fly back to Dubai the following morning. I wasn't familiar with the roads, which added to the tension. The 400-CC rental bike was fine, though I would have been better off with a larger engine. Despite the difficulties, everything went smoothly, and I returned home safely, making my flight on time.
