A Quick Break from Adventure to do Something Good | Beach Cleanup | Destination Adventure

There is a lot to celebrate today, so I'm taking a quick break from adventure to do something positive. Don't worry, it's only for one day, then back to the adventures. I have been trying my very best not to talk about this, because wow is it ever exciting, but Destination Adventure has finally accepted its first big product sponsor. Swellfish is a company out of Langley, BC that produces inflatable boats, and they happen to be a fan of the channel. They saw all of the problems I have been having with the Dumpster Dinghy lately, so they reached out wanting to help. This has been in the works for several weeks now, and the boat setup is finally here and WOW am I impressed. I haven't put a lot of time on this boat yet, but the time that I have, it has preformed so far beyond what I could have possibly expected. I am so very thankful for this opportunity, and it really means a lot to me and my life path. I made due with the Dumpster Dinghy, but when Swellfish reached out to me, they did so because they want me to be safe. I could not afford this setup on my own, and I am so thankful now to be safe out on the water. This new rig will also give me the possibility to go many more places, and bring you all with me. On a recent video, you would have seen me visit a beach that was unfortunately covered in garbage. I knew right away that I wanted to take a day and clean up as much of it as I could, so that is what I did. There is a lot of work that still needs to be done on our beaches around BC, and I hope to see more people getting out and making a difference. We live in such a beautiful place, and it is such a shame to see it ruined by the industries that support our economy. I believe strongly that Industry is important for the growth and success of our country, but as the largest financial generators, I don't know why there is no effort to be making a positive difference on our land. If these large corporations can't afford to make a difference, then in my opinion, they shouldn't be making a living. Sorry for the rant, I just know that this is a problem that should not exist. I hope that you all enjoy this video, and I hope you are excited for all of the adventures to come. Lots of new doors being opened right now, and I can't wait to sprint right through them.
