The SKX 173 from Seiko is an excellent example of a good quality divers watch at a modest price point. The example in this video dates from c. Dec 2004. As an interesting aside as to how tough it is my poor watch suffered thru the following: 1. fell off a nighstand (the floor was carpeted) 2. it was dropped accidently onto the floor while I was sitting on a bus. 3. I once tumbled down 3 steps rushing thru an airport and the lug of the watch impacted with the ground. After all of the above watch never stopped running :) Misc: Seiko mineral glass crystal goes by the trade name of "Hardlex".
