Hey everyone! Ready for an unforgettable journey through Ethiopia's countryside? We had the most incredible day exploring this beautiful country and experiencing its rich culture. We left at 7 am from Addis Ababa and headed out on our adventure. We started by driving through picturesque villages, taking in the vibrant colors and lively atmosphere. We even stopped for a delicious cup of Ethiopian coffee, which was absolutely amazing! Next, we visited the historic Debre Libanos monastery and church. It was like stepping back in time! We then went on a scenic hike along a gorge and saw the famous Portuguese bridge. The views were breathtaking. After our hike, we treated ourselves to a delicious homemade Ethiopian meal. It was the perfect way to recharge after all that exploring. We were also lucky enough to see a family of gelada baboons. Those guys were pretty cool! Our adventure wouldn't be complete without visiting a local family home. We participated in a traditional coffee ceremony and learned about their daily life. They were so welcoming and friendly.
