Magic Kingdom announced a revamped version of the parade would be part of the brand-new holiday celebration, Disney Very Merriest After Hours. It was all about celebrating Walt Disney World’s 50th-anniversary spectacle. Initially, we missed some favorites like Goofy’s Gumball Machine Float, the fancy ballroom dancers, and Santa’s Workshop, but by the parade's 40th anniversary in 2023, everything was back in full swing. It was joined by the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Celebration and Disney 100 Years of Wonder festivities to mark Disney’s Centennial Anniversary year with style.
