With the likes of new transfer and 4 star Bishop Boswell, 2025 standout Sadiq White Jr, 4 star Sir Mohammed, 3 star and Wofford commit Elijah Strong, and Florida Southern commit Sam Walters just to name a few including a deep bench with the likes of Kaamil Domingo with offers from Brevard,Wesleyan, and Averett, Santana Lynch On the Carmel Side which has consistently seen success like Myers Park they bring with them a plethora of names including Brett Freeman, Khamani Wertz, 4 star Jaeden Mustaf, Boston Smith, Bryce Cash, Jackson Burnham, Micheal Marcus Jr and Kaleb Siler A lot of trash talk from both schools was all over social media with the likes of both schools taking “shots” at each other online. With all the trash talk leading up to this game and it being the first ever meeting between the 2 schools it was bound to boil over and make this be one of if not the best game in 2023 in the state of NC.
