40M Overlarge Octopus Kite Looking for Lunch!

About time I got this big boy out! This is a Peter Lynn Kites overlarge octopus, at 40M. Perfect field in which to fly this giant. Winds were 9 MPH to upper teens at times, which you’ll see reflected it the kite’s behavior here and there. Left the zipper in back of the kite entirely open. I first flew it with the kite above as a lifter (the octopus clipped to the flight line of the lifter). After it went over the line, I changed the configuration and attached the kite to the tow loop as a pilot. Fortunate to get out to this location again while the fields were still free of soccer goals. Love watching this kite, as it’s just spectacular in the air! Makes the Giant Lobster Kite look tiny.
