We met a Legend at Liverpool v SV Darmstadt! (Pre Season Friendly, 7th August 2023)

What a special memory this is! After the lovely Anfield Stadium Tour, we followed it up with Liverpool's final pre-season friendly in 2023. With the game at Deepdale, we hoped to be close to the players and boy did we get it! We were so close to the dugout, it was mesmerising! The day was made so much more special by seeing the players close up whilst they arrived at the stadium, topped off by bumping into an absolute club legend. My father was made up, as he was one of his favourite players during those glorious years in the 80s. What an occasion!
