Nothing happened at 2:56 I placed 25th out of 58 participants if the scores on discord for each round are correct which is a lot better than I expected tbh but this round hurts a lot every time I watch it. The nerves were insane at the start and it's what caused me to fail Cataclysm so badly but then everything that happened with Explicator is just the worst luck imaginable. I never died to adds in over 50 practice attempts (I still have no idea where that burst damage came from tbh) and on my 2nd attempt I never saw that bug where planets don't spawn despite both Centurions being dead happen to anyone and it ended up playing a big role in my placement. Even with a 2nd try clear I'd finish in top 20, and with a 1st try clear and being 0.5s faster on Atraks in round 2 I get top 16. So overall I feel very bittersweet about the tourney, on one hand I expected a bottom half finish, was really close to making it to round 3 and participating was a lot of fun, on the other the fact that it was so close has me coming back to it and thinking of what could have been so often. My round 2 score with a Golg HVT bonus would actually give me a solid shout at round 4 too... It's all in the past now tho so all I can do is to make sure I get better prep for the next tournament and hopefully crack into top 16. Congrats to zcp for absolutely crushing it and claiming the victory, this was an all-time performance from him. Starting and finishing the tournament with a Witness kill is so peak, absolute GOAT status.
