In 2002, the California Highway Patrol commissioned General Motors to produce six special, high-performance Camaros for use in its track-based Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC). Built to GM’s B4C Police Package option code, these potent Camaros featured an SS package which combined the 5.7L LS1 V-8 engine with the lightweight V-6 body, a 460LE automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Special modifications for high-speed track work included a 10-point roll cage, bucket seats modified to accept a five-point racing harness, a Flowmaster exhaust system and upgraded suspension. Each of these special EVOC Camaros were assigned to a single CHP instructor and were only driven by that instructor for demonstration purposes. The example on offer is one of these six 2002 Chevrolet Camaro EVOCs and boasts just 19,745 miles on the odometer. Finished in black and white California Highway Patrol livery, this track-worthy Camaro was regularly serviced every 5,000 miles by the California Highway Patrol. Other notable features of the EVOC cars include the 3.42 limited slip rear end, 4-wheel ABS power disc brakes, power rack-and-pinion steering, power door locks, tilt steering, air conditioning, power mirrors and a rear window defogger. Offered at no reserve, this 2002 Chevrolet Camaro EVOC CHP is a unique piece of California Highway Patrol history. If it is your first time here, be sure and click that like button, smash that subscribe, and ring that little bell! Here at 828 Adrenaline Flunkies, we bring you along and follow the crew(Jeff, Jeremy, Paige, & the kids) along all our crazy adventures. If you've saw our logo, you know we advertise automotive, sxs & atv, and hunting & fishing content. But lets break that down a little further. When it comes to automotive, we have got you covered, unless you want real technical advice of course. We've got a shop(or two) full of junk, so there is always something to work on from Mustangs to Mopars to Chevy's and everything in between. We also frequent car events from big ones like Hot Rod Power Tour, Ponies In The Smokies, Pigeon Forge Rod Run, & Mustang Week to the smaller local events like the ones put on by our buddies over at the WNC Pharoahs Car Club. When it comes to side by sides and atv's, well, CF Moto is life. But there is always a Yamaha, Polaris, or who knows what close by. Not to mention our trusty Kubota's. We've got a couple hundred acres we ride on locally here in the mountains of Western North Carolina, but are frequent visitors of the Hatfields & Mccoy Trail system in West Virginia. Now the hunting and fishing, that's where it gets a little hit or miss. Avid deer hunters that love to bass & trout fish, we do not get alot done of either. In fact, 2022 was our worst hunting season ever. Not to mention we sold both our Bullet Bass Boats, leaving is stranded on dry ground. But we dream and hope of big fish and big kills. Who knows if that day will ever come? In the end, the title gets it right, we are flunkies, a long way from professionals, but we enjoy what we do and enjoy sharing it with you! We draw inspirations from the likes of Roadkill, Cleetus Mcfarland, The SXS Blog Boys and Expedition Overland in hopes of bringing you some cool content and of course like all the rest, making it big one day! But for now, we are just having a ton of fun with life! Thanks for watching! We hope you enjoy!
