Welcome back to Reserved Investments! In today's video, we review some of the highlights from the recent Jeff Jacobs Collection (part two) of vintage graded toys that was being sold through Hake's Auctions. Spoiler Alert: I didn't bid or win anything in this auction, but there was one or two good deals that slipped through that I go over in this video...AND there were some insane prices being paid for certain items as well. For instance, a common 1983 factory sealed AFA graded Jabba the Hutt play set sold for close to $39,000 despite having a pre-auction estimate of only $1,000 to $2,000 (WTF? Timmy, Timmy...please hold my gluten-free, caffeine-free gourmet herbal peppermint tea while I call you a....internet edit!)
