#150 Another 518 TV rarity, and probably because no one watched them! This is WUSV-TV, channel 45, the 518's then-newest television station, which signed on December 3, 1984. This particular taping was of the movie "Teacher's Pet," which notably starred Clark Gable a year before his death. WUSV is licensed to Schenectady, and today it is WCWN, the Albany, NY DMA's CW affiliate. The commercials for WUSV itself are really on the cheap. Seems like they couldn't decide what the station's logo looked like! Also featured are two "Newspulse" updates which included how I was able to date this (the 40th anniversary of nuclear testing). The movie intro was obviously shot at Proctor's in Schenectady (but I would assume they didn't play the movies live at Proctor's).
