🇨🇼🌈 Our adventure in Curaçao was the kind of day that reminds you exactly why we love this life. Step off the ship… and step straight into color, rhythm, and personality. Curaçao doesn’t ease you in — it greets you with music, pastel waterfront buildings that look almost too perfect to be real, and that famous floating bridge doing its graceful swing across the harbor. (And yes, we successfully crossed without getting “bridge-locked” mid-span 😄). Historic forts and cobblestone streets gave us that old-world European charm, while the bright Caribbean palette reminded us we were firmly in island territory. It’s a place where history doesn’t sit quietly — it shines. Then the afternoon turned into an unexpected art adventure. What began as casually spotting a few street signs quickly became a full island-wide hunt for murals, painted staircases, oversized furniture installations, colorful bridges, and vibrant walls bursting with creativity. Curaçao doesn’t decorate — it celebrates. 🎨 We met talented local artists proud of their work, chatted with welcoming locals, and even had enthusiastic school kids asking for photos. Friendly doesn’t even begin to describe it. By the end of the day, the camera roll was full, the step count was impressive, and the smiles were real. Curaçao is bold, expressive, artistic, and full of soul. Back to the ship with sun-kissed faces and a little extra island rhythm in our step.
