HIYA! Here's the third (?) demo tape of Japanese visual-kei rock band Voluptuous, or "ヴァラプテュアス". It's called "DEATH MESSENGER XIII (破壊という名の創造)" and contains just one song. It's from 1993 or 1994 (not sure). I was able to get my hands on this tape after years of searching, and ripped it in high quality, which is what you're hearing right now! The images in the video are all my scans too, both scanned from the J-card of this tape. The music is by vocalist JECIECA (ジェシカ), and the music by guitarist NAO. A cool fact about NAO, or at least we're almost sure, is that before he was in Voluptuous, he was the guitarist of GIRL'E, which was the first band of Mana from MALICE MIZER. Every single demo tape of this band is extremely rare and nearly unobtainable, and the annoying thing is that the market contains some fake demo tapes too. Be careful when buying! Song name: DEATH MESSENGER XIII (破壊という名の創造) Arist: Voluptuous Artist (Japanese): ヴァラプテュアス Release date: Somewhere in 1993 or 1994... Voluptuous are: Vocals: JECIECA (ジェシカ) Guitar, Chorus: NAO Guitar, Chorus: 葵 (Aoi) Bass, Chorus: 希利 (Kiri) Drums, Chorus: 雪乃 (Yukino) --- Visual Flower Archive is an effort to, as the name suggests, archive the amazing musical movement that is visual-kei of Japan, in the highest quality possible. A ton of this music only released on cassettes and VHS tapes in the 90s, and never got officially published digitally, and tapes degrade over time, so it is important to properly digitise and carefully archive these unique parts musical history with the best equipment possible, so that they don't get lost forever. It is run by "A Certain Flower Prince". THANX, XOXO
