Underwater divers have been given rare access to the Blue Lake, one of the most prominent landmarks of South Australia’s Limestone Coast. Situated in the crater of Mt Gambier’s extinct volcano, the lake is usually off-limits to underwater explorers because it’s the major source of the city’s drinking water. Diver Richard Harris, who’s best-known for helping to rescue a Thai boys’ football team and their coach in 2018, was among those given the chance to dive in.
