I speak to Roger Stephenson who tells us the history of this iconic shop and explains how the bowler hat was invented here in 1849. Lock. & Co Hatters have made hats for everyone from the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh to Winston Churchill and Charlie Chaplin. Charlie Chaplin ordered many hats from here and had them delivered to the Savoy Hotel.
