taiwan feels like home but also such a dream. from the YUMMMY night markets in taipei to a bougie AYCE buffet (yummy atm, 100% regret after), plus a magical visit to jiufen (aka the real-life inspiration for spirited away), this trip was everything. if you're looking for the best food in taiwan, a taipei travel guide, or just want to come along for the vibes, this vlog has got you covered! 💡 tips & tricks for taiwan travel: ✔ jiufen is a bit hard to get to - try to book a private taxi that could take you to the mountain and back! there are taxi drivers around main stations, or book through a taxi service. agree on a price before and you're off! we tried taking the bus down last year and it is not for the faint of heart (me). the road is super windy and not worth. the taxi drivers are also reasonably priced, so just make sure you're not getting the tourist tax! ✔ try everything once! taiwan's food scene is amazing. favorite foods not mentioned: oyster omelette, lu rou fan (minced pork over rice), and mango shaved ice! ✔ BEST pineapple cakes: chiate (mentioned, but not spelled out in the vid). this also makes a great gift for others or yourself (my sister and I got two boxes to 'share,' and we ended up eating all of them ourselves) if you're planning a Taiwan trip, love street food adventures, or just want to see aesthetic travel vibes, this is for you! and if you liked this vid, don't forget to subscribe for more travel vlogs :) 💖 muah sending all the love and thank you for watching!
